Nothing sweeter.
Today my mum came home from the cottage because school starts tomorrow, and she has to go back to work. Once she got home, she went and visited my Nonna and my Nonna has a huge garden, so she literally gave us a bucket full of beans.
Well if you’re an avid bean cooker, you know that you have to rip off both ends of the beans before you cook them. Now this isn’t just a small bucket, it was a huge bucket that would take one person at least 2 hours to do all beans by themselves. So me, my brother and my mum sat on the living room floor, with a bag and two huge bowls, preparing beans.
It was nice to just sit with my mum and brother, watching Bill and Teds Bogus Journey, and talking.
Even though I talked to my mum every day on the phone while she was at the cottage it was nice to be able to sit with her, and just talk with both of them, just joking, and watching a sweet movie.
