My movie dream.
I had this dream last night. It was like an incredible movie. Although no matter how I try and explain it, it will never sound as good as it looked in my dream.
But it was an actual movie, like I was sitting in my bedroom with the tv on. Ewan McGregor was in it. So was Ellen Page(go figure) and Jennie Garth.
Its already 1pm, so most of the good parts have already faded out of my memory.
But from what I remember, Ewan McGregor was a very respected movie director/producer/writer. He lived with his brother (whom I don’t remember played him, although his attitude, easily could of been played by Jeff Goldblum). Ewan could not be trusted to live alone, because he suffered from memory loss, but was heavily medicated to help him from waking up forgetting everything every morning, which is why his brother lived with him, resenting him for it everyday.
One day, at a casting call he was having the hardest luck trying to find the right person for this absolutely amazing movie he wrote (that of which I can’t remember) when he came along Ellen Page, and a few other kids (again, I don’t remember the others). She was the perfect girl for the role, and he couldn’t of been more excited. So Ewan, Ellen and the other actors spent a lot of time together getting into character, going over the script, and what not.
One night, before beginning shooting the cast and crew all went out for drinks, and well the main character (Ewan) drank far to much, passed out somewhere, not having any medication on him, and woke up the next morning in a complete blurr.
This meant he would no longer remember Ellen, the other actors, and even this project that he was so excited on doing. Everyone was trying to get him to remember the picture, even bringing him the script, which he just assumed was his dead beats brothers way of pushing a script on him.
He re read the script, liked it, but chose a complete new cast for it. One of which was Ellen Pages sister?(I can’t remember how they knew each other but I believe they were related) played by Jennie Garth.
The old cast just sat around while everyone took over their jobs.
That’s all I can remember.
But I actually enjoyed it. Because the film, although packed with very well known actors, was filmed in a very indie, and low budget quality. But it was a very interesting movie. I enjoyed it. And I would probably see it. Although I’m not a huge fan of Ewan McGregor, but apparently yesterday while I was out with my mum she mentioned him, and that’s probably the only reason he was in my dream.
It was fun, but I wish I knew how it ended.
